With terminals, warehouses, and offices around the world, effective waste management is a key part of ColliCare’s environmental strategy. We aim to reduce, reuse, recycle, and recover waste – and continuously monitor our performance.

Our 4-step waste management approach

	Reduce Focus on lowering our amount of waste –We work proactively to reduce the amount of waste generated across all operations – from packaging and office waste to industrial materials		Reuse Reuse materials if possible –Whenever possible, we reuse materials, pallets, and equipment to extend their lifecycle and minimize the need for new resources
	Recycle when possible 95% to recycling or recovery –We separate and sort waste systematically at our terminals and offices, enabling efficient recycling processes. Our goal is to ensure that recyclable materials are handled correctly and do not end up in landfills		Recover Turn waste into energy –Waste that cannot be reused or recycled is sent for energy recovery, turning residual waste into heat or electricity, in line with circular economy principles

Monitoring and reporting waste management

We regularly review our waste management reports to ensure transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Waste data is used to track trends and identify new areas for optimisation.
