The workshop focused on how to accelerate the electrification of heavy road transport and create practical solutions for cross-border operations. ChargeNordic is a Nordic cooperation programme established to support the transition towards more sustainable freight transport across the region.
Working together to accelerate the transition
The workshop gathered stakeholders from across the transport value chain to discuss barriers, opportunities and knowledge gaps related to electric heavy transport. Topics included charging infrastructure, cross-border operations, regulatory frameworks and the practical challenges transport companies face when introducing electric trucks into daily operations.
Sharing experiences from everyday operations
For ColliCare, participation was a valuable opportunity to share experiences from operating transport services across the Nordic countries and to engage in dialogue with authorities, charging operators and industry peers.
"For ColliCare, operating across borders in the Nordics, it is important that charging infrastructure and regulatory frameworks are aligned. Through ChargeNordic, we can share experiences from daily operations and work together on solutions that support our routes and our customers," says Rohit Sharma, Sustainability Manager at ColliCare Logistics.
Creating value for customers
The transition to low-emission transport requires close cooperation across the industry. By taking part in initiatives such as ChargeNordic, ColliCare gains valuable insights that help support future investments in sustainable transport solutions and contribute to more reliable and competitive services for customers.
Committed to a more sustainable future
ColliCare continues to explore ways to reduce emissions and improve the sustainability of its transport operations. Collaboration across borders, industries and public authorities will play an important role in enabling the future of electric freight transport in the Nordic region.
